Navitas Semiconductor has recently launched the world’s first 8.5kW server power supply specifically designed for AI data centers. This power solution integrates Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) technologies, achieving an exceptional efficiency of over 97.5%, perfectly catering to the demands of AI computing and hyperscale data centers. To meet the specific requirements of the Navitas 8.5kW server power solution, YMIN has developed the IDC3 series of high-voltage liquid-filled snap-in capacitors tailored for servers. The power supply of AI data center servers is upgrading towards higher power and smaller size, requiring passive components to improve performance and keep up with the pace of power supply iteration. All types of YMIN capacitors have the characteristics of high capacitance density, ultra-low ESR and strong ability to withstand large ripple current, meeting the needs of server power supply solutions.
Compact Size, High Capacity: The internal space of server power supplies is limited, and components need to be smaller in size. YMIN liquid-filled snap-in capacitors reduce the volume by approximately 25%-36% compared to conventional products while maintaining the same voltage and capacity. Ultra-Low ESR: YMIN capacitors achieve extremely low ESR levels (ESR < 6mΩ).
